Caisey Pickerill to marry Rob Schneider
Chuck and Karen Pickerill and Pat and Gail McLaughlin of Villa Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Caisey Pickerill, to Rob Schneider, son of Robert and Karen Schneider of Lombard.
The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Willowbrook High School and a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University. She is employed with Inland Real Estate Investment Corp.
Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Willowbrook High School and is employed with Sheraton Suites of Elk Grove as a building engineer.
A July 26, 2013, wedding is planned at St. John’s Lutheran Church, with a reception to follow at Itasca Country Club.


Kristen Schmied and Adam Valgiusti engaged
Dave and Debbie Schmied of North Aurora announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen, to Adam Valgiusti, son of Ed nd Kim Valgiusti of Lombard.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of West Aurora High School and is currently a cardiac nurse at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Glenbard East and is employed at Edward Hospital in the respiratory therapy department.
Kristen and Adam met while working at Edward Hospital. Adam surprised Kristen in mid-September by popping the question. She said “Yes.”
A July 26 wedding is planned in Lombard.


Julianty Wijaya and Patrick DeSantis III wed
Julianty Wijaya, daughter of Lukman Johan and Liana Susanti Wijaya, and Patrick DeSantis III, son of Patrick DeSantis Jr. and Barbara DeSantis, were married in a civil ceremony on Dec. 7 at Wheaton Courthouse.
The couple will hold a wedding reception on June 29, 2013, at Grand Brilliant Restaurant Jakarta Indonesia with a honeymoon in Bali Island, Indonesia, known as Paradise Island, a day after the reception. The couple also plan to visit Komodo National Park, Indonesia, one of the seven wonders of the world.
