Kate Dahlquist to marry Terry Hawkins Jr.
Denise Dahlquist of Schaumburg announces the engagement of her daughter, Kate, to Terry Hawkins Jr., son of Terry and Cece Hawkins of Lombard.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 Conant High School graduate and a 2004 graduate of the University of Iowa. She is employed at Walgreens corporate in the TV marketing department.
Her fiancé is a 1997 graduate of Glenbard East High School and a 2001 graduate of Marquette University. He is employed with John Hancock Investments.
A wedding date is pending.
Together with his brother, Tom (see next engagement announcement), all Hawkins siblings will be married after their two weddings.

Kristen Zelasko to marry Tom Hawkins
Dennis and Mary Zelasko of Norridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen, to Tom Hawkins, son of Terry and Cece Hawkins of Lombard.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Regina High School in Wilmette and graduated from the University of Illinois in 2007. She is a kindergarten teacher at  Edison Park Elementary School.
Her fiancé is a 2003 graduate of Glenbard East High School and graduated from the University of Dayton in 2007. He works as an actuary for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
An Aug. 11, 2012 wedding is planned. Tom surprised Kristen at her school with flowers and a picture slide show.

Kristen Dillon to marry Daniel Loftus
Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dillon of Lombard announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen, to Daniel Loftus, son of Mrs. Margaret Loftus of Villa Park and the late C. David Loftus.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Glenbard East High School; Lewis University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education; and Concordia University, with a Master of Arts degree in school administration. She is employed with School District 45 as a sixth-grade language arts teacher.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Willowbrook High School and is employed as a concrete contractor with DEL Concrete in Lombard.
An October wedding is planned at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard.

Emily Becker to marry Matthew Heise
Gregory and Kimberly Becker of Westchester announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to Matthew Heise, son of Robert and Paula Heise of Lombard.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High School; Eastern Illinois University, with a degree in elementary education; and Concordia University, with a master’s degree in education administration.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Glenbard East High School and Iowa State University, with a degree in mechanical engineering.
An Oct. 29 wedding is planned.

Carol Plewa to marry Daniel Ferrelli
Carol J. Plewa of Geneva and Daniel J. Ferrelli of Aurora announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mrs. Jean A. Plewa and the late Eugene F. Plewa of Lombard. She is a graduate of Willowbrook High School and Illinois State University, and is  currently employed by ExxonMobil Chemical Co.
Her fiancé is the son of Anthony T. and Joan E. Ferrelli of Aurora. He is a graduate of West Aurora High School and Aurora University, and is employed by the City of Aurora. He is also an adjunct instructor at the Suburban/National Law Enforcement Academy in Aurora.
A 2012 wedding is planned.

Erin Soger to marry Leonard Ciavarella
Dennis and Estelle Soger of Lombard announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin, to Leonard Carmello  “Carmie” Ciavarella, son of Leonard Ciavarella of Lombard and Trinidad Ciavarella of Chicago.
The bride-to-be is  a 2003 graduate of Montini Catholic High School and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and English degree. She is employed as a meeting and special events planner for the American Veterinary Medical Association in Schaumburg.
Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Glenbard East High School and is employed as a head painter at Jerry’s Collision Center in Schaumburg.
A late January 2012 wedding is planned at St. Pius X Church in Lombard, followed by a Jamaican honeymoon. They plan to reside in Lombard.
